In March 2013, a choir of 800 primary school children performed Riversong at the Royal Festival Hall as part of Hounslow Schools’ music festival.

This song cycle will take you on an exciting musical journey, following one of Britains rarest birds on its miraculous migration from Britain to Peru.
This little bird’s journey through the icy regions of the north and the storms of Caribbean tells an inspiring story about strength and resilience in the face of harsh conditions, and of the unstoppable drive for survival amongst earth’s creatures.
The 30-minute piece, consisting of 7 songs and linking narrative poems has been performed by schools and massed choirs across England. It is now available for schools and choirs to purchase as a package of downloadable piano and choir parts, backing tracks and scores for small and large ensembles.

Meadowsong
This song cycle is a musical journey through the fascinating habitat of a wildflower meadow – from the deep, dark, secrets of the soil to the vibrant colours, sounds and scents of a meadow buzzing with creatures. It is a celebration of the power of the earth to sustain our wildlife, of habitats that give life to so many organisms, and of the interconnectedness of all living things.
Meadowsong was performed by 2000 young singers & instrumentalists at Royal Albert Hall and Finsbury Park in 2018. In 2019, the project will take place in schools across north London.
